Fufu/Swallow (cooked oat dough) is a staple food common in many African countries. It is often made with flour and served with your choice soup — for example pumpkin soup, vegetable soup or okra soup.

Serves: 2 to 3

Instructions

  1. Using a large microwaveable bowl, to avoid lumps, mix the flour and the boiling water. Add more flour and water to preferred thickness.
  2. Cook at full power in a microwave for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from microwave and stir until the mixture cuddles.
  4. Serve with your favourite soup.
